Who is it for?

This qualification is aimed at individuals who work in or wish to take up supervisory roles within the stewarding and spectator safety industry.

This qualification aims to confirm occupational competence while equipping learners with the knowledge, skills, and understanding of spectator safety.

• prepare and maintain a stewarding team
• deal with problems, accidents and emergencies
• develop productive working relationships with colleagues at spectator events.

Course Content:

The Level 3 Certificate in Spectator Safety Supervision includes five mandatory units:

• Prepare stewards and venues for spectator events
• Manage and maintain stewarding in designated areas
• Manage information for action and decision-making for spectator events
• Develop and sustain productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
• Monitor and solve customer service problems

Assessment:

• Workplace Assessment – Learners must demonstrate competence by meeting required standards over time.
• Simulation – Assessment is based on workplace performance.
• Portfolio of Evidence – Learners must compile documentation showcasing their skills and knowledge.
• ACT Awareness E-learning – Completion of counter-terrorism awareness training.
• First Aid Training – Completion of a recognized first aid award

Progression:

Learners could progress to:

• Level 3 Extended Certificate in Spectator Safety Supervision.
