The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is aimed at those wanting to teach in the lifelong learning sector, or those already teaching within the sector who do not have the relevant qualifications. It is a pre-requisite before completing the Deliverers of Conflict Management Course.
The Level 3 Award in the Delivery of Conflict Management Training is designed to provide training for those working in the security sector or similar industries who have a responsibility to provide conflict management training to others, and provides opportunities for personnel who train in the security sector or similar industries to achieve a nationally recognised Level 3 vocationally-specific qualification.
This qualification is designed to give the candidates knowledge, understanding and skills that are needed to provide effective conflict management training, also the opportunities for candidates to focus on the development of the major key skills and the wider skills necessary in a security and conflict management context, such as improving own learning and performance, working with others and problem solving. This award also provides opportunities for learners to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal qualities and attitudes that are essential for successful performance in a training environment.
The Level 3 Award for Physical Intervention Trainers.
This award has been developed for people wishing to teach physical intervention skills to people working in the private security industry. This course consists of:
- Application of Physical Intervention Skills for the Private Security Industry
- Delivering Physical Intervention Training
Learners will gain appreciation of physical interventions and the legal/professional implications of their use. Candidates will be learn how to reduce the risk of harm when physical intervention skills are used, be able to use non-aggressive physical skills to protect oneself and others from assault, also be able to use non-pain related standing holding and escorting techniques, including non-restrictive and restrictive skills. And understand good practice to follow after physical interventions.

Course Assessment
There will be short MCQ test and at the end of the course you need to submit a portfolio via email or by post to our head office. You will also be required to provide supporting evidence and an observation with written on the micro teach delivery aspect of the course.
Certification
After attending the course and successfully passing a multiple-choice questions examination, candidates receive certificate from an awarding body within England and Wales who are currently recognised by Ofqual and Department for Education and Skills.
